Games Workshop: New Releases for The Old World

Lord/Sorcerer on Chaos Dragon

A Chaos Dragon is a nemesis of order and sanity, a horror of ancient age and power that can break the backs of armies with its steel claws and teeth. Their twin maws breathe death upon their foes; one exhaling dark flame, as the other emits corrosive gas. Only the most powerful Lords of Chaos can ride such a monster, and even then it is more an unholy alliance of destruction than a matter of master and servant.

A Twin-headed Terror From the Skies

This multipart plastic kit builds 1 Lord on Chaos Dragon and 1 Chaos Sorcerer on foot for your Warriors of Chaos armies in games of Warhammer: The Old World. This powerful unit will wreak havoc on the battlefield, combining speed with an impressive capacity for destruction that’s only enhanced by the rider. This large and imposing miniature, measuring 305mm from wingtip to wingtip and 280mm tall, will be the pride of your collection, looking just as impressive on your shelves as it does leading a mighty army.

Customise Your Kit

The Chaos Dragon’s rider can be assembled as either a Chaos Lord or a Sorcerer Lord, with the other on foot. The Chaos Lord is clad in heavy plate armour, and equipped with a tall shield or axe in one hand, and a long polearm or sword in the other. They have 2 horned helmets to choose from. The Sorcerer Lord comes with 3 head options. The Chaos Dragon has 2 different styles of heads, 2 sets of interchangeable horns to customise their look, and 2 sets of saddles and accessories to choose from.

Champions of Chaos - view 1

Champions of Chaos

Every Champion of Chaos has travelled a long and perilous road to pre-eminence, a road paved with the broken corpses of less successful aspirants. Each Champion’s abilities are enhanced by gifts from their patrons, for none save the Daemon Princes themselves enjoy more favour in the eyes of the gods. To stand against one of their number is to invite a sudden and brutal death.

Lead with an Iron Fist

This multipart plastic kit builds 2 Champions of Chaos to lead your Warriors of Chaos armies in games of Warhammer: The Old World, 1 on foot and 1 riding a Daemonic Mount. Both miniatures can be used to represent an Aspiring Champion, Exalted Champion, or Chaos Lord.

You’ll find several options to customise your Champions of Chaos, including 4 different heads and a choice of 2 different axes or a mace for the right hands. The left hands can be built holding a battle standard, holding a severed head, or as a hand clenched into a fist.

Chaos Knights - view 1

Chaos Knights

Chaos Knights are towering brutes clad in heavy plate. They ride to war with great lances, evil-looking polearms designed to impale and tear, and their blades and maces flicker with dark fire. A Chaos Knight’s spurs are jagged blades, well-suited to slicing through the flesh of the enemy. They consider themselves superior to other warriors of Chaos – their collective pride is the equal of their martial prowess.

Thundering Down from the Frozen North

This multipart plastic kit builds 8 Chaos Knights, heavy cavalry for your Warriors of Chaos armies in games of Warhammer: The Old World. They can be assembled as 1 larger unit, or 2 smaller units of 4, each with a full command section. These fast, resilient, and hard-hitting warriors will form a powerful core around which the rest of your army can be built.

The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. There are 24 heads, 16 shoulder pads, 6 shields, and 8 lances, which are interchangeable across the Chaos Knights. You’ll also find components for 2 champions, musicians, and standard bearers if you choose to build them.

Chaos Warriors - view 1

Chaos Warriors

A Chaos Warrior is no longer truly human – rather, they are a living weapon of the Ruinous Powers, honed to perfection upon the anvil of hardship and tempered in the fires of battle. Clad in nigh-impervious, baroque armour, and equipped with heavy axes, swords, maces, and hammers, they are a fearsome foe with a reputation that can end wars before they begin.

The Anvil AND the Hammer

This multipart plastic kit builds 16 Chaos Warriors, heavy infantry for your Warriors of Chaos armies in games of Warhammer: The Old World. They can be assembled as 1 large unit, or two smaller units of 8, each with a full command section. Fully encased in heavy armour and tall shields, they are incredibly hard to kill. They march implacably across the field of battle, putting an assortment of heavy hand weapons to murderous use when they reach the foe’s front lines.

The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. There are 16 heads, 32 shoulder pads, 16 shields, and 14 hand weapons to choose from, which are all interchangeable across the Chaos Warriors. You’ll also find components for 2 champions, musicians, and standard bearers if you choose to build them.

Arcane Journal: The March of Chaos - view 1

Arcane Journal: The March of Chaos

When Frydaal the Chainmaker sailed from the frozen north to Westerland, first for slaughter and then for conquest, most in the bustling palaces of Marienburg were too distracted by matters of state to treat the threat seriously. The people of the Wasteland suffered and prayed – and aid finally came from an unexpected quarter, even as greater turmoil descended upon the Empire.

Arcane Magic Ploys Card Pack - view 1

Arcane Magic Ploys Card Pack

Those who have studied the arcane arts for long enough are often able to predict patterns within the Winds of Magic. In battle, such arcane mastery enables a Wizard to outwit and outmatch their rivals through cunning ploys derived from their familiarity with how the magical winds blow. However, no Wizard can unerringly anticipate every pattern within the Winds of Magic, leading the plans of many to unravel in the cruel hands of fate.

Harness the Winds of Magic

This deck of cards will allow you to easily generate a set of Arcane Magic Ploys before each battle, granting you new tricks and powers to tip the scales in your favour. They act as a reference for the various effects, to help you remember to use them during your games.
