THE LORE
A covert pair of Soviet Air Patrol MiG-21’s are flying high over Cambodia. They have encountered an expansive spacecraft of unknown origin and chose to engage with it. The Soviets damage the spacecraft with gunfire, the spacecraft appears to have a mechanical failure crashing into the jungle below. In a sudden moment, a large explosion rings out and an enormous dome of red light and energy appears. This energy rips through the land and sky, warping everything inside. A massive portal to another dimension now appears at the crash site.
Highly trained elite search teams from all nations are immediately dispatched. They are all given the same mission; go to the portal and recover any and all alien technology from within. The elite search teams, unknowingly, will encounter horrors and otherworldly powers that they will have to battle.
These incursions have been going on for well over a year, the amount of new technology and dark powers that have been extracted cannot be fathomed. Greedy nations will not stop sending these units until they have extracted everything or the portal closes. Will this hellish portal ever close? Or will its presence end our world in apocalyptic cataclysm forever?

Everyone who backs the Red Jungle The Miniatures V2 campaign will receive a free STL to print out the “Jungle Slayer”. This recon marine has been trapped in the Red Jungle since the portal first opened up. His entire unit decimated, he however has thrived in this nightmarish dimension. Slaying everything that crosses his path, growing stronger with each victory. The Jungle Slayer comes complete with multiple arm options allowing you to arm him with a sawn off Ithica shotgun, M16 w/ bayonet or M1911 and machete. This figure is also modular so you can mix and match parts with all our other Red Jungle figures. He will be provided along with the rest of your campaign files after the campaign is over.
THE MINIATURES
The Red Jungle range will go hand in hand with the Red Jungle Wargame being developed by our good friend Matt of “Battle Tribe”. This skirmish game is set in an alternate universe where a portal opens up in South East Asia during the Vietnam War. Major world powers send in squads to harvest energy and tech. These elite soldiers not only have to fight off each other, but also zombies, demons, vampires and all kinds of other monsters.
If you’re not into the “weird war” Vietnam don’t worry! These minis are perfect for your historical Vietnam wargaming needs! They scale perfectly with other popular Vietnam and Cold War ranges such as Gringo40’s and Flank March Miniatures (Scale Comparison at the end)
