Steamforged Games has New Warmachine Releases including a Mercenary and the Dusk Fane of Nyrro Force

Warmachine: Dusk Fane of Nyrro Styrge Hounds

Beneath the ruins of Eversael, countless winged predators make their nests in the darkness. Among the most vicious are young styrges, primitive pack hunters that descend upon their prey in a frenzy of fang and claw. Too primitive and fragile to withstand the psychic domination used to control the Fane’s greater beasts, these creatures are instead broken to the hunt by the Fane Knights, who prize ferocity and obedience above all else.

Driven into battle in packs, Styrge Hounds overwhelm their quarry through sheer aggression, tearing into isolated targets before moving on to the next. Few survive for long in the service of the Fane, but beneath Eversael there are always more waiting in the darkness.

Warmachine: Dusk Fane of Nyrro Riven

Haunting the ruins of what was once Ios, the Riven are the tormented spirits of priests broken by the first agonising fractures between the gods and the elves. More than a thousand years later, their suffering has not ended. Trapped between life and death, these bleak apparitions cling to the living, desperately hoping to follow a departing soul into the afterlife and finally escape their endless torment.

The priesthood of the Fane of Nyrro has turned that desperation into a weapon. Encouraged to tether themselves to the Fane’s enemies, the Riven drift into battle in search of the death that might grant them release, serving their eldritch masters as they pursue a salvation that may never come.

Warmachine: Dusk Fane of Nyrro Razorbat Alpha

The forests of Western Immoren are home to countless predators, but few attack with the viciousness of the Razor Bat. Named for the wicked barbs lining their wings, these spiteful creatures descend in swarms to tear apart anything unfortunate enough to stray too close to their roosts.

For centuries, the Fane Stalkers have captured and bred the largest and most feral Razor Bats for their hunting patrols. Generations of careful selection have transformed these already savage predators into enormous Razor Bat Alphas, far larger and more vicious than their wild kin. Unleashed alongside the Fane’s hunters, they bring razor-edged wings, relentless aggression, and a very good reason to keep one eye on the skies.

Warmachine: Dusk Fane of Nyrro Hollowed

Born from some of the Fane of Nyrro’s darkest experiments, the Hollowed are decaying undead creatures driven by an insatiable hunger for essence. What began as a gruesome attempt to unravel the mysteries of elven souls instead unleashed an undead plague upon Eversael, leaving behind hordes of shambling horrors with little purpose beyond feeding.

To the eldritch, however, even these wretched creatures have their uses. Driven ahead of the Fane in expendable masses, the Hollowed stumble towards the enemy with no thought for their own survival, clawing and biting at anything within reach. Whether they overwhelm their victims or are cut down in droves matters little to their masters. While the enemy is occupied with the dead, the Fane is free to pursue far more important prey.

Warmachine: Dusk Fane of Nyrro – The Gathering Darkness

Few can claim the absolute mastery over life and death achieved by Harasheth. The life essence of both friend and foe are fuel for sorceries that knit the flesh of the fallen and force them to rise again in utter subservience to the whims of their master. His very presence heralds corruption and decay, the misery of his foes a delicious nectar that feeds his ravenous appetite.
Gathering Darkness is an excellent entry point to Dusk Fane of Nyrro, providing you with a resilient attrition force that excels in both Command and Skirmish level Warmachine games, as well as powerful options when constructing a larger army to take on bigger battles.

Warmachine: Captain Barl “Demolisher” Dunax (Mercenary)

Once an engineer in the Searforge Commission mercenary charter, Captain Barl “Demolisher” Dunax earned his stripes fighting across the length and breadth of the Iron Kingdoms. Having learned his explosive trade under the tutelage of legendary warcaster Durgen Madhammer, Dunax brings a wealth of experience to any army that hires his services, advising not only on demolition of enemy positions but also how allies can make best use of fortifications.
