Beneath The Hostile Skies is a narrative-driven fantasy terrain project set in Drevor, a conquered frontier where the Southern Empire still struggles to control the land it claimed thirty years ago.
Beneath Drevor’s forests and mountains lie rich veins of mana stone, drawing imperial soldiers, merchants, and ambitious mine owners ever deeper into hostile territory.
But Drevor has never truly surrendered.
The story begins at a remote imperial mine, where newly arrived mercenaries are caught in a sudden rebel assault. Forced to flee through the wilderness, they eventually reach Nova Silvar, an imperial city marked by corruption, harsh taxation, hidden resistance, and growing unrest.
As the conflict spreads, imperial forces prepare to reclaim the fallen mine—only to discover that the rebels have fortified the site and that their druids are performing a dangerous ritual deep beneath the mountain.
When the mana stone begins to resonate, the mine collapses, and the land itself rises in fury. The Empire came to Drevor in search of wealth.
Now Drevor is beginning to fight back.
