Journal Tactica: The Battle for The Signus Cluster – Assault on Kol
The radiation-blasted world of Kol in the Signus Cluster played host to some of the most secretive battles of the Horus Heresy. Here the Legio Custodes would take the fight to Traitors, rebellious members of the Solar Auxilia, and even the accursed daemonic spawn of the entity known as Slaanesh.
The Corruption of the Signus Cluster
This gaming supplement for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy details the actions of the Legio Custodes in the Signus Cluster, the battle they fought on the cursed world of Kol, and the fate of those that died there. In addition to the tale of this conflict, this journal contains a Legendary Mission to refight key moments in the iconic war for the Signus Cluster. It also contains rules for all of the factions involved in that struggle, including rules which allow players to field the Daemons of Slaanesh in the Horus Heresy for the first time.
This 48-page softcover supplement contains:
– In-depth Lore: Detailed background on the Custodians’ role in the battles for the Signus Cluster, and of the traitorous forces arrayed against them.
– Additional Mission: A full Legendary Mission that allows players to refight a claustrophobic Zone Mortalis battle between beleaguered Custodes and the forces of Slaanesh.
– Daemons of Slaanesh Army List: A full Army List for the Daemons of Slaanesh.
– Unit Profiles: Additional rules for the Ephoroi Venatari-Proconsul, Hykanatoi Proconsul-Delegate, and Gyrfalcon Jetbike Sodality units for the Legio Custodes, as well as Exalted Section unit rules for representing Slaanesh-serving Solar Auxilia units.

Coronus Grav-carrier
The Coronus Grav-carrier grants the Custodes a degree of speed and agility unmatched by the grinding armour of the Imperium’s other forces – allowing them to deploy, redeploy, and evade without risk of being pinned down by enemy troops or hazardous terrain.
Advanced Protection and Fire Support

Combined with fast antigrav technology and its well-armoured chassis, this tank can turn the tide of battle in your favour.

Caladius Annihilator Grav-Tank
The Caladius Annihilator Grav-tank provides a mobile, protected platform upon which to mount one of the heaviest elements of the Custodes’ arsenal – an Arachnus Blaze Carronade. Telemon Heavy Dreadnought
Telemon Dreadnoughts are each intended to stand sentinel over their charges, no matter the forces brought against them. With fewer than a handful of Telemon Dreadnoughts remaining, the honour of interment in one of the few existing Telemon sarcophagi is awarded to only the most celebrated warriors. Rare is the foe who can stand against the array of esoteric, handcrafted weapons that grace its chassis or the ferocious will and warrior skill of the master Custodian interred within.
Guardian Eternal

Custodian Dreadnought
The Dreadnoughts of the Custodes are advanced, beautiful machines that wed phenomenal strength and speed with the interred warrior’s own unmatched martial skill. In those isolated cases where a Custodian has sustained irrevocable harm with their mind intact, internment within the cold and unyielding body of a Dreadnought is assured, for no Custodian would tolerate an end to their service short of death.

Customise Your Dreadnought
The Contemptor-Achillus Dreadnought is highly customisable and can be built in one of 2 configurations – the spear-carrying Achillus, or the Galatus, equipped with a warblade and praesidium shield. Both patterns are highly poseable. The Achillus has a choice of 2 spear heads, can be armed with a lastrum storm bolter, twin infernus incinerator, or Adrathic combi-destructor on each arm, and has the option of a closed or open left hand.
There are also lots of cosmetic options, including interchangeable helmet sections, 2 sculpted shoulder pad decorations, 2 chest decorations, and optional pteruges, making it easy to customise your devastating walker.

Gyrfalcon Jetbike Sodality
The heavy duty, plasma motor-boosted Gyrfalcon-pattern jetbike is favoured by the Custodes due to the design’s increased power, which can support both a heavily armoured Custodian pilot and one among a slew of potent on-board armaments.

Aquilon Terminator Sodality
Advancing further upon the Cataphractii Terminator armour pattern, Aquilon plate is designed around the Custodes’ enhanced physiques and fitted with additional integrated power systems and capacitors. The kit includes parts to equip every miniature with either Adrathic Combi‑destructors or Lastrum Storm Bolters in place of their Infernus Firepikes, and wielding Solarite Power Talons rather than their Solarite Power Gauntlets.

Venatari Sodality
The role of Custodian Venatari is a high honour among their Legio and is reserved for those who have proven themselves successful in the Blood Games. Their domain resides among the rooftops and spires of the Imperial Palace and in the skies above any Custodian assault, overseeing and assessing potential threats below before swooping into a killing dive.

For Warhammer 40,000, these miniatures can be built as either a Venatari Sodality with Kinetic Destroyers or a Venatari Sodality with Verutum Lances for use in Adeptus Custodes armies. Held aloft on their Custodian jump harnesses, they fly over the battlefield, hunting their targets. Armed with advanced archaeotech weapons, these swift killers excel at using their speed to take out isolated enemy targets.
Hunt in Style
Each member of the unit can be equipped with either a Tarsus Buckler and brutal Kinetic Destroyer to slay the Emperor’s enemies from afar, or a Verutum Lance to strike down foes in close combat. They can each take an optional Neutronium Cascade Mine to destroy vehicles at the molecular level, and 2 Ventari can be assembled carrying these baleful devices in their hands. There are also several interchangeable parts, which make it easy to customise your swooping predators.

Sentinel Guard Sodality
Sentinel Guard Sodalities are deployed to protect emissaries on hazardous ground and hold defensive positions against the most grievous onslaught. They are outfitted with energy field-reinforced Praesidium Shields – a precursor to the storm shields of the Space Marines – capable of resisting the heaviest weapons fire. In spite of this protective role, the physical prowess of each Custodian, and the peerless wargear with which they are outfitted, affords the Sentinel Guard the mobility to perform far more aggressive functions in open battle, where their resilience makes them formidable linebreakers.
Peerless in Defence
This multipart plastic kit builds 6 Sentinel Guards for Legio Custodes armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy, or for Adeptus Custodes armies in Warhammer 40,000. Armed with Sentinel Blades, Misericordia, and Praesidium Shields, they are well protected without sacrificing offensive capabilities. Now, they are an order in mourning, their tireless vigil a penance for allowing Him to fall to the arch traitor. The most important duty of the Custodes is to shield the Emperor on the Golden Throne, but in the desperate state of the galaxy, they travel the stars to smite any who would welcome the death of Humanity.

They are supported by specialist units such as the rapid-response Venatari and heavy walkers, including rare and powerful Contemptor-Achillus Dreadnoughts. Such a host can take and hold key objectives regardless of the foes that dare to cross blades with them.

Highly mobile winged Venatari add speed and disruption tactics to your arsenal, while a Contemptor-Achillus Dreadnought provides heavy fire support.
