Spectre Miniatures Releases 3 New Soviet Vehicles

Soviet Truck

This model is based on the The ZIL-130 5-6 ton truck. Over 3 million of these vehicles were produced between 1962 and 1994 and exported globally – making it an extremely common vehicle in the ‘Eastern’ sphere of influence up to the present day.

Soviet 4×4

This model is based on the The UAZ-469 off-road utility vehicle. Production started in 1971 and continues to this day. It is used by a large amount of militaries in the ex-Soviet bloc and further afield.

It is extremely rugged and can traverse very difficult terrain, and is also able to carry up to seven people, making it a popular vehicle when larger armoured vehicles are unavailable or not desirable.

Soviet Bus

This model is based on the The UAZ-452 ‘Loaf’ bus. Designed in 1965 for the Soviet armed forces, this vehicle is still in production and use today. It is produced in many variants, for transport or cargo. Depending on the model, it can carry between 2 and 11 people across rough terrain.

It has been widely exported and is used by a wide number of countries.

Although it has very poor protection and is not particularly comfortable to drive, it has been seen in frontline service, where alternatives are not present.
