TT Combat Has New Releases for DropZone Commander

Bioficer Deltas

Unlike remotely controlled bio-constructs, Deltas fight with lethal, predatory intellect. They require more
resources to spawn than basic infantry due to the control harness melded into their flesh. This is complex enough to house a low-level Intelligence, lending Deltas terrible, fully conscious life. Since they must be transferred in/out for every engagement as they are recycled and respawned, these intelligences are especially corrupted and twisted. They are wicked-fast, cunning, and deadly accurate with their twin tail-mounted Decon Rifles. They also have sufficient compute to direct nearby bio-puppets, ensuring the Bioficer’s grip over their creations remains absolute.

UCM Mortar Teams

The Colonial Legionnaires Corps routinely employ support weapon teams alongside regular troops. Every Legionnaire is trained to use these weapons, and many secretly hope for a rotation to support duty where they can rain down destruction far from the dangerous business of CQB. Their firepower far exceeds rifles although, without them, they are susceptible to enemy close assault. The UM-19 Standard Infantry Mortar is a versatile, 2-man weapon, most dangerous when used in groups where they can lay down an unstoppable barrage. A rain of high-explosive shells can obliterate armour from range and keep any enemy heads firmly down.

Scourge Eviscerators

While ‘ordinary’ Demolishers are dreaded opponents in CQB, Eviscerators are appalling. As is well known, Scourge parasites lose their grip on their host when they reach old age, exposing the insane remnants of the host’s wracked psyche. In a human host this is dangerous enough, but in a Demolisher it results in raging, tormented juggernauts of muscle and sinew that desire nothing but to rend every other living thing around them to tatters. Ranged weapons are pointless toys to them compared to their Chitin Glaives. These are among the most feared melee combatants on the battlefields of the 27th century.

Shaltari Daimyo & Firstborns

Firstborns are unusual amongst Shaltari; their spirit inhabits their birth body. Their enthusiasm, bloodlust, and recklessness are yet undimmed by living many lifetimes in a dangerous universe. Keen to earn respect, many join the Firstborns, a cadre of melee specialists. There are few better ways to prove one’s bravery; their natural aggression and uncurbed savagery dominates the crucible of CQB. Encased within Warsuits and wielding energy swords, Firstborns overcome their size to become eight-foot avatars of murder. Chief among Firstborns are the Daimyo, those of the greatest renown and record. Their larger Warsuits carry some of the most advanced infantry equipment the Shaltari possess, including personal, dimensionally transient teleporters.

Resistance Freeriders

Freeriders form the backbone of most Resistance recon patrols, utilising fast bikes to probe behind enemy lines. They ride pre-war, civilian models, often with an aesthetic common to products of the period. Discarded bikes are plentiful, so they salvage the fastest and most exotic, adding armour and bolt-on machine guns. Freerider bands attract younger, reckless Resistance fighters. A sense of invincibility, a death wish, or questionable sanity is mandatory for those that take to the battlefield. They use speed and agility to dodge incoming fire, sometimes closing to touching distance to slap limpet mines onto tanks, causing devastation disproportionate to their size.

PHR Medusa & Sirens

The PHR’s all-female Siren Corps are elite operatives specializing in CQB, rapid insertion, and assassinations. Whether deployed in six-woman cells for urban combat or acting as lone shadows, they wield dual RXp-44 HV magnums with balletic grace, seamlessly processing data from advanced optics to slay multiple targets simultaneously. Among these peerless warriors are the Medusae, comprising just 0.0001% of the Republic’s population. Possessing an unmatched affinity for machine-mind integration, a Medusa effortlessly controls thousands of slaved Familiars, levitating into battle on a seething pillar of nanomachines to sow destruction and aid allies until all enemies are swept away.

Bioficer Scuttlers

Scuttlers are among the Bioficers’ most terrifying ‘creations’. These thin-limbed horrors move through shadows with disturbing, jerky speed, leaping onto their prey from air vents, ceilings, and crawl spaces. They carry no weapons but need only their questing limbs to prise victims apart into bloody tatters, preferably in full view of their doomed squadmates. They seem to have been created primarily to spread terror and have even been known to tap pipes and metalwork incessantly as they approach in a way no natural predator would. They are among the purest expressions of the Bioficer’s twisted, gleeful malevolence.
