The Tiberian Array: Space Station Map & Starship Miniatures

by 0-hr

Welcome to the latest offering in the “Project Imperator” line: presenting a large space station with supporting craft, and arriving well in time for the holidays!

The Tiberian Array is a deep space outpost constructed from previous endeavors: the Augustus ring, Atlas dome, and a scaled-up Vanguard Station spine. It uses all six pre-existing Project Imperator posters but does not add a new one. Miniatures are available for the large station as well as the smaller shuttles and fighters. PDF documents about the station and big digital images of the posters are included at every pledge level.

Positioned on the frontier of civilized space, each Tiberian Array serves as a self-sufficient outpost that guards the border, watches for alien threats, and provides a haven and resupply point for passing ships. The station consists of a central spine, upper dome, and a rotating wheel with four similar habitats, each five decks high. The spine holds cargo and engineering areas while the dome houses administration and crew space. The habitats contain resident accommodations, with the arcs between holding hundreds of cryogenic pods. Each Array houses 200 crew and has room for more than 1200 residents or visitors plus another 600 in cold sleep. Sixteen extended Brahma-class shuttles are carried as well as ten Serena-class starfighters.

Project Imperator began with the NERO freight hauler, continued with the Trajan-class battleship and Augustus-class starliner, then tentatively wrapped up with Port Hadrian. But I’ve decided to do one more as a bonus, providing additional utility for the existing map set. If you own the Project Imperator posters, then you already have everything you need to map out the Tiberian Array. And if not, this is a great time to fill in the gaps.

The maps for this project are modular – meaning that large sections are reused in multiple locations and other ships. All six Project Imperator posters (2 NERO, 2 Trajan, 1 Augustus, & 1 Hadrian) are used for the Tiberian Array, but nothing additional is needed.

These are 24×36 inch double-sided posters drawn to a 1-inch equals 5 ft scale and with a 1-inch grid built into the floor – designed for Starfinder and similar game systems.  All posters are printed on 120 lb gloss paper, are not laminated, and are shipped rolled in a sturdy tube within a box for extra protection. The full set of 6 posters is offered at the Posters and Combo pledge levels. Individual posters (in case you already own part of the set) are available as Add-Ons.

The model, which is sort of a “Codex Kit Bash”, is 70mm tall and 88mm in diameter. To help with production and shipping, it is built in sections designed to fit together and to be glued in place. The spine and dome are separate pieces. The ring is one or two parts depending on whether it needs to ship in a poster tube or not. The miniature is a high-resolution resin 3D print and comes unpainted. A round 1-inch stand is included with each model that uses one.

This project also includes miniatures for the Brahmabus shuttles and Serena-class fighters carried by the station. A full set includes the Tiberian Array, a pair of shuttles, and four fighters. The shuttles are the same as those used on Augustus and are a longer version of the Brahma-class shuttles from the Ziyad campaign. The Serena-class fighter appears in many issues of Future Armada and the Codex, and so should be very useful. Shuttles are 34mm long and the fighters are 25mm.

Since this project uses the same posters, Port Hadrian, Augustus, Trajan, and NERO miniatures are available as Add-Ons, as are additional packs of shuttles and fighters. Adding a miniature will also include the digital documents for that ship.

The Tiberian Array is from an issue of Armada Codex currently under construction. This issue will provide a sample background for the station and describe its interior in detail. It will also contain the deckplans broken into printable pages for printing. Every pledge level will include a link to download this issue from DriveThruRPG. The digital reward also includes full-size jpeg images of all of the posters (with and without text/background), Starfinder stat sheets, and bonus art.

For people new to the Project Imperator line, the six Project Imperator posters are available as a set for just $40 total. If you already have some of the posters, you can complete the collection using Add-Ons. Since the six posters also let you fully map out the NERO freighter, Trajan battleship, Augustus starliner, and Port Hadrian station, those miniatures are available as add-ons too.

If you add on NERO, Trajan, Augustus, or Port Hadrian miniatures, I will give you links to download the PDF docs for those ships as well. Digital images of the maps are already included with the Tiberian Array.

If you would like to add merchandise from any of my other campaigns, please visit my website ( 0-hr.com ) to check prices. Add the necessary amount to your pledge as “Bonus Support”, and then list the items in the end-of-campaign shipping info survey.  There will be a space provided for this. There is no additional shipping cost.

In gratitude to everyone for supporting this campaign, I will create at least one new digital image for every $1000 by which we exceed our initial goal. These images will be included with the digital reward files just for backers. But whether you join or not, I thank you for taking the time to consider this project. Please spread the word if you know anyone else who might be interested!
