Asymmetric Warfare

Asymmetric Warfare. Immersive, ultramodern narrative tabletop wargaming rules for 20 – 28mm minitures. Dynamic rules for ultramodern miniatures combat from special operations, small skirmishes to full-fledged battles.

Infantry rules – vehicle rules – off table assets – covert operations – stealth mechanics.

It’s an upgrade to the previous Spectre Operations rules, sharing the same core mechanics but with significant additions like detailed terrain cover bonuses and advanced rules for electronic and information warfare, medical support, and high-value target capture. The game uses a simple D6 system with opposed rolls for combat and features a flexible model count, from a few elite units to dozens of militia, to represent different forces.

  • Asymmetric Conflict Simulation:
The game is designed to model scenarios where one side has overwhelming power and the other has superior information, reflecting modern conflicts.

  • Modular Rule Set:
Players can scale the complexity, from a basic skirmish to intricate scenarios involving electronic warfare, information gathering, and hostage rescue.

  • Terrain & Cover:
Unlike older versions, terrain is a significant factor, with different types of cover providing substantial defensive bonuses to unit stats, making even lower-level troops more resilient.

  • Flexible Force Sizes:
The rules are flexible enough to accommodate forces ranging from elite, highly-trained units to larger numbers of less effective militia.

  • D6 System:
The game uses a straightforward dice-based system, relying on a standard D6 with modifiers for opposed rolls in both ranged and close combat.

  • Upgrade of Spectre Operations
