From the creators of Broadside: Empires of Steel, the tabletop game of naval combat during the era of the Great War Dreadnought, comes Broadside: Dawn of Steel.
In 1905 HMS Dreadnought was still under construction and the dreadnought revolution still lay in the future. The ships that we now call pre-dreadnoughts ruled the seas and decided the fates of nations.
In Broadside: Dawn of Steel you command a fleet of 7 to 12 ships from the time of the Battle of Tsushima, the decisive engagement between the Imperial Russian Navy and the Imperial Japanese Navy during the Second Russo-Japanese War.
We have taken the rules from Broadside: Empires of Steel and adapted them for a time when naval combat was a much more close-ranged affair. Experienced players will find the mechanics familiar, but the tactical situation on the tabletop will be quite different.
