Era: While focused primarily on the First World War, the sandbox rule set covers the early 20th century. You can use it for colonial conflicts, the Spanish Civil War, or the early days of World War II.
Mechanics: It features a dynamic Orders system where keeping command and control over your troops is central to victory. Players must manage infantry assaults, early tanks, gas attacks, and primitive aircraft.
Gameplay: Games are typically fought across large 6×4-foot tables and focus heavily on overcoming obstacles like barbed wire, relying on support from mortars, machine guns, and artillery.
