Codex: Orks
Orks are stronger than any human, with rippling muscles, maws full of yellowing fangs, and a natural toughness that allows them to shrug off all but the worst injuries. They are a terrifying foe to face, especially in large numbers. Bellowing mobs of Boyz surge forward, enthusiastically spraying bursts of gunfire, while ramshackle buggies, hurtling beast riders, and trundling walkers rush to get to grips with their foes. They are the most joyously anarchic and recklessly destructive force in the galaxy.

Trukk
Trukks are built primarily for speed, and usually have little in the way of armour plating. No two Trukks look the same, but they’re typically covered with a mass of excessive pipework, sheet metal, afterburners, exhausts, and other exposed gubbinz. They are also fitted with rails and runners so Orks can hang onto any bit they can reach while they hurtle towards the front lines.

Wartrakk
Wartrakks are part warbike, part gun rig, and all Orkish mayhem. The Nob that rides atop the platform gains the benefit of speed, without having to worry about steering, and he gets to fire armour-busting rokkits. The Wartrakk’s rugged design makes it an ideal vehicle for operating in urban ruins and ravaged battlefields, where it can outmanoeuvre more heavily armoured targets.

Warbikers
Ork Warbikers ride rumbling kustom attack bikes armed with rapid-firing dakkaguns, spraying the foe with ragged bursts of shells as the bike bucks wildly under the reckless riders. As they close in, the spikes and crude blades mounted to their bikes cut a bloody trail through enemy units, while the riders hack what’s left with choppas.

Boyz
Boyz are the rank and file of the Orks – each one a massive green brute. They go to battle in large, unruly mobs, led by a Nob to inspire the troops through example and simple intimidation. Tough and determined infantry, their battered armour and crude, varied weapons give them a motley appearance.

Armageddon Kommand Krew
Ork armies may look like disorganised mobs at first glance, but there is a discernible structure to the madness. From varying levels of nobs and bosses, to individual Orks filling specialised battlefield roles, they come in a shocking variety of different types and sizes. Larger Orks might have earned the right to carry an inspiring banner or more advanced weapons, while others carry the crude tools of their trade.

Mek
Meks have an instinctive grasp of advanced technology and an intense compulsion to weld, rivet, and hammer away at chunks of scrap. They take to the battlefield armed with their favourite kustom mega-sluggas, and laden with heavy tools and gubbinz, capable of twisting enemies apart as easily as affecting quick and dirty repairs in the heat of battle.

Weirdboy
Weirdboyz are psychically sensitive Oddboyz who serve as focal points for the power unconsciously generated by other Orks. They unwillingly act like a lightning rod for Waaagh! energy, and discharge this power in destructive blasts of force, lest it accumulate and cause their heads to explode.

Warboss
A Warboss towers above his Boyz, reigning as a belligerent general and unleashing destructive violence in battle to inspire his ladz and terrify the foe. Warbosses are the most powerful of all the Orks in their tribe, and it is they who rule the warbands. They maintain their position thanks to their size and prowess in the savage arts of war, and carry the best wargear their Meks can provide.

Big Mek Dakkarig
Big Mek Dakkarigs provide a stable firing platform for heavy firepower. Lumbering relentlessly forward, they unleash corkscrewing hails of rokkits and hurricanes of dakka from their screaming blitzkannons, all while their gleeful pilot is protected from return fire by a crackling kustom force field.

Nazdreg
Nazdreg Ug Urdgrub is an infamous Bad Moons warlord – the flashiest of all. His power klaw, Moonchewa, and his multi‑kombi Kustom Blasta X shoota reap a heavy toll as he leads his well-equipped Waaagh! from the front alongside the Toof Rippers, his elite troops. The Flashboss is known for his insatiable greed and mastery of tellyport assaults.

Command Pack: Orks
Orks bring a motley horde of troops to battle, from rushing tides of Ork and Gretchin warriors, to roaring ramshackle vehicles and lumbering walking machines bristling with weapons.

Orks Dice
When they form a Waaagh!, Orks swarm across a planet in unending waves of raucous, frenetic violence. They cry out for their gods, Gork and Mork, to witness their acts of brutality and cunning.
This is a set of 16 six-sided dice with squared edges for use in games of Warhammer 40,000, themed around the Orks. They are cast in green acrylic plastic with red ink markings, and measure 16mm along each edge. The 1-5 facings are traditionally pipped, and each ‘6’ face is decorated with the savage icon of the Orks.
