Daimyo: A Mass Battle Samurai Wargame is a fast-play, mass-battle miniatures rulebook.

The game is set during Japan’s historic Sengoku period (mid-15th to early 17th century), a time of constant civil war and power struggles among the daimyo (great feudal lords). Players take command of a unique historical clan, build a formidable army, and fight to defeat their rivals to ultimately unify Japan under their banner.

Army Structure: Armies are built from groups of units known as contingents or sonae (brigades).

Activation System: The turn order utilizes an unpredictable blind-draw token system from a bag, ensuring players cannot guarantee when their brigades will activate.
Special Orders: Clans can issue high-impact Special Orders unique to their faction, such as the Takeda clan’s “Thunderous Cavalry Charge”.
Scale Agnostic: The system accommodates any miniature scale, allowing players to represent conflicts ranging from minor skirmishes to massive historic battles with hundreds of miniatures.
