Dropzone Commander: Operation Artemis

Operation Artemis is a standalone, fast-paced tabletop skirmish game set in the Dropzone Commander universe, where two players control either the Post Human Republic (PHR) or aggressive Megafauna. The PHR must secure or destroy Bioficer beacons on a hostile alien moon, while fending off the gigantic, genetically-enhanced Megafauna. A key mechanic is the “Noise and Threat” system: aggressive actions increase noise, which in turn makes the Megafauna more aggressive, forcing players to balance speed and stealth. 

• Factions: Players choose to command either the advanced, mech-equipped Post Human Republic (PHR) or the wild and vicious Megafauna.
• Objective: The PHR’s mission is to secure or destroy Bioficer beacons. The Megafauna’s goal is to stop them and defend their territory.
• Noise and Threat: A core mechanic where actions like shooting increase the “Noise” tracker. Higher noise levels increase the “Threat” level, making the Megafauna more aggressive and dangerous.
• Command Cards: Both players use unique decks of command cards to alter the battlefield, provide powerful boosts, or change the course of the game.

• Miniatures: Detailed plastic miniatures for both the PHR (Type-9 Frontier Walkers) and the Megafauna.
• Game Board: A 3×3 gaming mat with buildings and terrain markers.
• Rulebook: A 20-page rulebook containing lore, unit descriptions, and rules.
• Components: Dice, a “Noise Meter” tracker, and all necessary command and fastplay cards for both factions.
