Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago Fantasy Wagames in the Lost Isles

Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago is a standalone tabletop wargame that shifts the fantasy setting from a frozen city to a tropical archipelago of ancient ruins.Players control Heritors, powerful descendants of those who drank from the fabled Crystal Pool, leading their teams of adventurers and treasure hunters through the shifting, dangerous islands in search of lost artifacts and treasure. The game uses the core rules of the original Frostgrave but refines the mechanics and introduces new challenges, such as poisonous waters, ancient traps, and rival crews, all while allowing players to customize and develop their unique Heritor and their crew.

Setting and Premise

The Ghost Archipelago:
A mystical chain of islands that appears in the southern ocean every few centuries, filled with the ruins of ancient civilizations.
Heritors:
Powerful warriors who are descendants of a lineage that drank from the legendary Crystal Pool, granting them incredible strength and agility.
The Crystal Pool:
A fabled fountain whose waters grant immense power, drawing adventurers to the islands in search of it and its boons.
Threats and Challenges
Deadly Environment:
The islands are fraught with peril, including tribal cannibals, sorcerous snake-men, poisonous creatures, and treacherous waters.
Rival Crews:
Players will also encounter other rival Heritors and their crews, leading to direct competition and conflict over valuable treasure.
Ancient Traps:
The ruins themselves are protected by ancient traps, making navigation and exploration a dangerous undertaking.
