Jane Austen: Zombie Killer is a tabletop miniature skirmish loosely based on the concept popularized by Seth Grahame-Smith’s mashup novel
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, the game blends elegant Regency-period social expectations with survival horror.
Set in a stylized 1820s England (specifically Derbyshire), the country is afflicted by “the strange plague”. While Britain’s military forces are preoccupied fighting the Napoleonic Wars (“the Corsican Tyrant”), the British aristocracy has forsaken traditional fox hunting. Instead, they dedicate themselves to mastering deadly martial arts and weaponry to cleanse their estates of the undead—who are politely referred to in high society as “Unmentionables” or “Dreadfuls”. Players navigate the double challenge of surviving zombie hordes and maintaining their social standing for the next grand Ball.
