Kosmika: A Dark Space Skirmish Game

• Vertical Multi-Level Board: The game takes place on a dense, multi-level 16×16 or 16×6 structure. Players deploy at the top level (Topside) and must dive down into The Mids and The Sink to hunt for high-value salvage. Deeper levels yield richer rewards but carry far greater risks.
• Streamlined D8 System: Actions and combat rely on a simple D8 dice pool engine. Unit attributes (Move, Smarts, Muscle, Health, Power, Armor) determine how many dice you roll against a target number.
• Noise and Rising Danger: Performing actions like tearing open salvage requires a muscle test, which generates noise. High noise levels increase the structure’s global danger rating and attract deadly, AI-controlled Hostiles that lurk in the shadows.
• Game Modes: Supports competitive head-to-head brawls against a rival crew, fully cooperative missions, and solo play.
• Campaign Progression: Features a post-game phase where crews deal with injuries and blight effects. Successfully extracting via an airlock advances your corporate bond track to unlock advanced gear, weapons, and new crew members.
