Maximillian 1934: Pulp Action Road Rage

Emerging from the heat shimmer they come in a roar of sound and fury, the nomad brigands and road pilots. Chrome, dust and rust in your rearview mirror are the first harbingers of impending doom. Then the incessant chatter of twin Vickers fills your ears and your auto begins to disentegrate around you.

Maximillian 1934 is a 28mm tabletop vehicle combat miniature game set in a dystopian, diesel-soaked alternative 1930s. Often described as “Mad Max meets the Jazz Age,” players take control of heavily armed classic roadsters, jalopies, motorcycles, and bizarre war machines.

Core Gameplay Mechanics

Movement Templates: Players power-slide, drift, and corner around the table using a specialized cornering template.
Handling Variables: Maneuvering success depends heavily on the driver’s skill, current speed, and the specific chassis size or handling profile of the vehicle.
Scale: The game is highly accessible; it functions as a small-scale skirmish game where a single player only needs one or two vehicle models to participate.
High Lethality: Vehicles are armed with period-appropriate weaponry like twin Vickers or Lewis machine guns, custom armor plates, and rocket tubes to tear apart opposing drivers.
