Punkapocalyptic – 2nd Edition

Punkapocalyptic is a post-apocalyptic setting for both a tabletop miniatures game and a role-playing game (RPG), characterized by a bleak, violent, and irreverent tone. In this world, civilization has collapsed due to economic crises, leading to widespread anarchy, radioactivity, and the rise of mercenaries who fight for survival in a wasteland populated by mutants, cultists, and junkers. The setting is known for its brutal, thuggish, and high-octane adventures, where players can take on the role of mercenaries or characters navigating a world that has “gone to hell”. 

• Post-apocalyptic world: The world has collapsed due to resource scarcity and conflict, resulting in a war-torn, irradiated, and inhospitable wasteland.
• Mercenary/Character roles: Players assume the roles of mercenaries or individual characters who survive by taking on dangerous jobs for others in the wasteland, such as fighting mutants, escorting caravans, or battling rival gangs.
• Brutal tone: The setting is deliberately nasty and violent, embracing a “punk” attitude with a focus on survival and combat in a harsh and unforgiving environment.
• Gameplay mechanics: The RPG utilizes a modified version of the Demon Lord Engine and focuses on short campaigns, streamlined rules, and flexible character development, allowing for diverse character types like psychopathic killers, mutant psychics, or tech-savvy builders.
• World details: The world features decaying settlements, bizarre cultists, dangerous mutants, and powerful, wealthy elites who live in high walls, leaving the rest of the population to fight for scraps.
