Super Mission Force – 2nd Edition

Super Mission Force is a fast-paced, miniature-agnostic superhero skirmish game.   Using simple opposed dice rolls (1–3 fail, 4–5 success, 6 critical), players create custom heroes from 11 archetypes (e.g., Brick, Blaster) with one major and two minor powers.  The game features easy character creation, quick action, and fun henchmen rule. Super Mission Force lets you play out superhero action using any miniatures from your collection.  The rules also offer a campaign system that faithfully captures comic book tales and battles and allows players to tell great stories on the their tabletops.

Key features include:

  • Simple Character Creation: 2-minute creation process allows for quick, customized hero design.
  • Fast Gameplay: Focuses on cinematic, action-oriented battles.
  • Miniature Agnostic: Designed to use any 28mm (or smaller) figures, making it ideal for using existing collections.
  • Archetypes & Powers: Characters are defined by archetypes (archer, blaster, brick, brawler, construct, mastermind, mentalist, metamorph, controller, speedster, and wild card).
  • Rules Mechanics: The game, often compared to a streamlined version of other, more complex systems, features damage tracking for both physical (body) and mental (psyche) states.

It is designed for 1–99 players with a 30–90 minute playtime.
