The Carniverse

The Carniverse is a post-apocalyptic miniatures skirmish game where players control teams of survivors battling for resources in a world overrun by dinosaurs. The game is “miniatures agnostic,” meaning it can be played with any miniatures a player already owns. Players build their survivor teams and bases for a campaign through a series of skirmish battles, where they must not only contend with other survivor teams but also manage the behavior of AI-controlled dinosaurs.

Key Features
  • Setting: A modern-day, post-collapse world where dinosaurs have returned, creating a primeval environment for human survivors.
  • Gameplay: A scenario-driven skirmish game played on a 3’x3′ table with terrain.
  • Goal: To lead your team of survivors to victory by collecting resources and surviving against both rival teams and the predatory dinosaurs.
  • Miniatures Agnostic: Players can use their existing miniatures for their survivors and dinosaurs, as the game focuses on the rules rather than proprietary models.
  • Dinosaurs: Dinosaurs act as an “Artificial Intelligence,” with preset rules dictating their movement and attacks, which players can use to their advantage.
  • Campaign Play: The game features campaign mode, allowing players to develop their base, grow their survivor teams, and accumulate experience over a series of linked games.
