Verrotwood: The Old West is a standalone folk-horror miniatures skirmish game expansion that transports the grimdark, cult-driven gameplay of the original into a desolate, “twisted” American frontier. It features low model counts (four per side), heavy kitbashing, and a D10-based system designed for solo or competitive play.

Key Features and Description:

Setting: A twisted, haunted American Southwest where nature is malevolent.
Gameplay: A 3’x3′ board is typically used, with a high density of terrain (around of the table).
Cult Focus: Players run a cult of four miniatures, engaging in competitive campaigns to gain power, survive, and awaken their sleeping, dark gods.
Rules & Mechanics: It is a low model count, miniature-agnostic game utilizing a D10 dice pool system for ritual casting (spells) and combat, aiming for simple, fast gameplay.
Folk Horror Elements: Combines traditional, weird, and dark fantasy elements with the American frontier, allowing for highly customized cults and “twisted” figure creation.
