Warcrow

Warcrow is a skirmish-scale miniature wargame set in the medieval fantasy world of Lindwurm. Lead your faction’s force of warriors, creatures, and wizards into tactical battles where strategy, positioning, and resource management determine victory. Each beautifully detailed miniature represents a unique character with special abilities that can turn the tide of battle.

It focuses on tactical, medium-scale “unit-based” battles, utilizing alternating activations and custom dice. Players lead factions in a high-fantasy setting with a mix of magic, ranged, and melee combat, generally played on a 3×3 foot board.

• Gameplay Mechanics: The system emphasizes positioning and management over dense terrain, featuring a “stress” system to manage unit fatigue and “switches” (special symbols on dice) that allow for extra combat effects.
• Scale: Games are often 250 points, usually involving about 20-30 miniatures, designed for roughly 90-minute matches.
• Setting & Factions: The game features a unique fantasy setting known as Lindwurm, which includes traditional fantasy races like humans, elves, and orcs alongside unique ones like the varank.
• Structure: The game is structured around alternating activations, where players take turns activating single units, often using a “no-one-left-behind” rule.
