Wings of Glory – WWII

WW2 Wings of Glory is a fast-paced tabletop miniatures game that simulates World War II aerial combat. Players control historically accurate, pre-painted airplane models using a simultaneous maneuver-planning system and secret bluffing mechanics to outmaneuver opponents, engage in dogfights, and accomplish mission objectives.

Core Gameplay Mechanics

- Movement System: Each plane has a specific maneuver deck of movement cards. Players secretly and simultaneously select their next move card, dictating their speed and flight path.
- Altitude Control: Unlike many aerial combat games, altitude matters. Planes fly at different peg-measured altitudes, adding a vertical element to dogfighting and bombing runs.
- Combat & Damage: When an opponent enters a plane’s firing arc, players use a ruler to measure range. Attackers draw damage tokens based on their aircraft’s firepower. Damage is kept secret on player consoles until the plane’s structural integrity is depleted.

Starter Sets & Expansions

The Core Sets: The WW2 Wings of Glory Battle of Britain Starter Set includes iconic aircraft like the British Spitfire and German Messerschmitt Bf.109. Other core sets and airplane packs feature different theaters of war, spanning American, Japanese, Italian, and Soviet aircraft.
Scalability: The game is fully modular. Starter sets are complete, ready-to-play standalone games, but you can expand your battles with separate airplane packs to include multi-engine bombers, special weapons, and larger groups of players.
