Chi-Nu Medium Tank Platoon Bundle
The Type 3 Chi-Nu medium tank represented the pinnacle of Japanese armoured vehicle development in World War II, with the lighter Chi-Ha and Ha-Go types having proven no match for Allied Shermans. Developed from the successful and well-understood Chi-Ha, the Chi-Nu possessed considerably thicker armour, and crucially a 75mm Type 3 main gun. This was one of the most potent Japanese anti-tank gun designs, and when paired with the improved armour allowed the Chi-Nu to fight on roughly equal terms with the M4 Sherman. Although capable, it would never see combat as the entire production run of a little over 150 was retained for the defence of the Japanese Home Islands, waiting for an invasion which never came. However, it makes for a fascinating historical what-if!

M24 Chaffee Light Tank Platoon Bundle
Developed as a replacement for the M3/M5 Stuart series of light tanks, the M24 (given the name ‘Chaffee’ in British service) paired high speed and excellent mobility with the proven and powerful 75mm gun used in M4 Shermans. The trade-off for this was its thin armour, but this was considered acceptable for the reconnaissance and scouting work it was expected to perform. Arriving to the European theatre in late 1944, the Chaffee proved to be an effective and capable light tank in both American and British service, although it never served in the same huge quantities as the Stuarts it replaced.
