About The Primer
This is why I formulated this primer: it grabs ABS, PS, metal, and slippery surfaces that ordinary water-based paints just slide right off of. I pre-thinned it already so it goes straight into your airbrush.
About WX MODEL CRAFT
I’ve been a modeler for over 25 years. Tanks, aircraft, cars, sci‑fi — if it comes in a box and needs glue and paint, I’ve probably built it. And like most of you, I’ve had my share of frustrating paints, mystery thinning ratios, and weathering products that looked great in the jar but fell flat on the plastic.
That’s what pushed me to start WX MODEL CRAFT. BTW, the name comes from the first initials of my name and my wife’s, who is an artist.
With studies in chemistry, I figured I could do better. So I cleared a corner of my workspace here in Delaware, and began mixing, testing, and tweaking. The goal wasn’t to launch a huge brand overnight — it was to create paints and weathering tools that I’d genuinely enjoy using on my own bench. Consistent coverage. Realistic colors. Effects that actually behave the way you expect.
Where are we now?
The product line is still in active development. I’m refining the formulas, testing them on actual kits, and making sure every bottle lives up to the promise. The first batch of acrylic paints, primers, washes, pigments, and rust/mud effects is getting closer — but I won’t rush it until I’m truly happy with the results.
